We attempt to offer consistently low prices on every item in our store. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We do not have a currency converter in our store, but several Web sites provide this service. Orders placed on NonviolentCommunication.com will be charged in U.S. dollars. If you live outside the U.S., this charge is converted by your bank into your local currency and should appear on your credit card statement in that currency.

Pre-Order Price Guarantee
NonviolentCommunication.com's price for not-yet-released items sometimes changes between the time the item is listed for sale and the time it is released and shipped. Whenever you pre-order any product, the price we charge when we ship it to you will be the price offered by NonviolentCommunication.com at the time you placed your order. The order summary in Your Account will reflect the price you were charged.
If your order enters the shipping process before the release date and the price is lowered on the release date, we will automatically refund your credit card for the difference between the price you were charged and the release-date price. If you did not use a credit card to pay for your order, please contact customer service using one of the buttons to the right.
Post-Order Price Guarantee
NonviolentCommunication.com's prices for released items will change from time to time based on a variety of factors. If NonviolentCommunication.com's price for an already-released item decreases within 30 days after we ship the item to you, we'll be glad to refund the difference in price if you contact us. Please use our Feedback Form, and be sure to provide your order number so we can assist you.
This Post-Order Price Guarantee is subject to the following restrictions:
- Applies only to products that have already been released. Products that have not yet been released but that are available for pre-order from NonviolentCommunication.com are not covered by this guarantee, but do benefit from our Pre-Order Price Protection program (see section above).
- Item prices that are affected by a promotion such as "Buy one, get one free" and other discount offers are not eligible.
- The price of an item after rebate is not considered to be the NonviolentCommunication.com price.
Price Matching
NonviolentCommunication.com does not price-match with other retailers. We do, however, consistently work toward maintaining competitive prices on all of the products we offer.
List Prices
Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice. The List Price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in every area on any particular day.
Wholesale and Bulk Quantity Discounts

Confirming Prices
Items in your Shopping Cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item's product detail page. Please note that this price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your cart. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item's price may decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it.
Some discounts are limited-time offers. Also, as the discount we are able to offer for any item is dependent upon its availability, NonviolentCommunication.com's price will necessarily change on occasion.
With respect to items sold by NonviolentCommunication.com, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
